Myths

There are some "freaks" running loose in this series. Here, allow me to break some myths down for you:

Demon: an evil spirit or devil, especially one thought to possess a person or act as a tormentor in hell.

Werewolf: (in myth or fiction) a person who changes for periods of time into a wolf, typically when there is a full moon.

Vampire: a corpse supposed, in European folklore, to leave its grave at night to drink the blood of the living by biting their necks with long pointed canine teeth.

Miko: A miko is a Shinto term of Japan, indicating a shrine maiden or a supplementary priestess who was once likely seen as a shaman but in modern Japanese culture is understood to be an institutionalized role in daily shrine life, trained to perform tasks, ranging from sacred cleansing to performing the Kagura, a sacred dance.

Alien: a creature from outer space; extraterrestrial.

Angel: a spiritual being believed to act as an attendant, agent, or messenger of God, conventionally represented in human form with wings and a long robe.

Dragon: a mythical monster like a giant reptile. In European tradition the dragon is typically fire-breathing and tends to symbolize chaos or evil, whereas in East Asia it is usually a beneficent symbol of fertility, associated with water and the heavens.

Ghost: an apparition of a dead person that is believed to appear or become manifest to the living, typically as a nebulous image.

(This will keep growing as the series progresses.)
